As I recently posted, I am getting married! I am only days from being less than a month away! And you know what that means? I am seriously running out of time to get all-eyes-on-me-in-my-fitted-white-dress ready!
So today I am super excited to share some tips with you, and also a sweet little giveaway to help you with your fitness goals! I received a box of Fiber One 80 Calories cereal to try. The timing was perfect because I had just finished a box of a different low calorie cereal. I was ready to switch it up and try something new… and this cereal did not disappoint!
I am always looking for ways to up my fiber (it’s weird but my body seems to be resistant to the natural sources of fiber, see: vegetables). My daughter doesn’t suffer from my aversion to fruits and vegetables, thankfully, but I am always looking for ways to sneak fiber in to her diet as well.
Literally, sometimes we have to put Metamucil in her applesauce ha-ha. But I don’t have to sneak around with Fiber One, she loves the sweet little squares.
This is also a great low calorie snack! Measure out portion sizes and put into individual little baggies…. quick, easy, and ready for on the go. Measuring the true serving size was huge for me. I even measured my milk. This trick carried over to my other meals, I began to look at my portions and realized just how much food I was eating! After a week of replacing one meal with Fiber One cereal, I began to notice a difference in my eating habits. I wasn’t starving an hour before lunch time. I became full faster. I wasn’t snacking as much between meals.

The pedometer is an easy tool to help you increase your daily activity. Wear it for a few days to find your average number of steps in a normal day. Then set a goal to increase that number the next day, or over the next week. Walking is a great low stress activity to get you up and moving around. My fiance and I started a walking war to see who could walk the most steps in a week. I’ll let you know who wins
