I used to think I spent a lot of time in my car when I had to make the 70mi round-trip drive from Fort Worth to my job in Dallas every day. Now that I am a stay-at-home Mom, somehow I feel like there are days I live in my car. Between school drop-off, pick-up, errands, trips to the grocery store, ballet, kickball practice, and everything else, I feel like I am always in the car!
The other day we were driving and my six year old asked me what the grey smoke was coming from the truck in front of us- it was more than just the average exhaust from a big truck. They are studying about nature in her class right now, but I was surprised by how much she knew about air pollution. That conversation really got me thinking how much of that bad air gets into the car? I did a little research, and couldn’t believe that the air INSIDE the car may actually be dirtier than the air OUTSIDE my car. With as much time we spend in the car, I definitely want my kids breathing clean air.
I found out that my car has a cabin air filter that is meant to help trap those contaminates and stop them from entering the car. I also found out that FRAM makes a Fresh Breeze® cabin air filter that removes up to 98% of dirt, dust, and allergens from passing through the car’s air conditioning and heating vent system. The FRAM Fresh Breeze® cabin air filter is the only cabin air filter that uses the natural deodorizing qualities of ARM & HAMMER® baking soda.
It was really easy to find the right filter for my car when shopping at Walmart and using the electronic lookup right there on the aisle.
